Brighten Children’s Hearts with Art” is a community-centered initiative dedicated to providing free or affordable art education to children from low-income families in Cedar Park, Texas.
Founded by Jing Cai, an experienced art educator and passionate advocate for children’s growth, our mission is to ensure that every child has access to the transformative power of art
Goal And Objectives
1. Accessibility: Ensure that children from low-income families have free access to quality art education.
2. A Safe Haven: Provide a welcoming, safe, and inspiring space where children can express themselves freely and find moments of peace.
3. Skill Development: Foster creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills in children.
4. Community Engagement: Build a network of support and showcase children’s achievements through exhibitions and events.
5. Essential Resources: Ensure children have access to the materials and tools needed for meaningful artistic experiences
Our Founder's Story
"Why this mission matters to me?"
This year, I turn 40, and as I reflect on my life, I feel the desire to create something meaningful that I can give back to the world. I have two wonderful children who inspire me every day, and at one point, I thought about having a third child. But life had other plans, and I realized that instead of focusing on having another child of my own, I could share my love with children around the world who need it most. This project, ‘Brighten Children’s Hearts with Art, ’ is my way of turning that love into action. Through art education, I hope to reach children who may feel unseen, unheard, or unloved, and give them a space to express themselves, build confidence, and dream big. Every class I teach is a gift—not just from me to them, but from my journey to the world.
